In honor of World Mental Health Day, I’m excited to bring a meaningful journaling challenge to our group, inspired by @justliketrevor on Instagram. This 21-day challenge uses the SOAP method (Subject, Observation, Application, Practice) and aligns with the yoga principle of Svadyaya—self-study or self-reflection. The journaling prompts I’ll be sharing are Trevor’s original work, and I think they’re a wonderful tool for promoting self-reflection and personal growth. Yoga is more than just what we do on the mat. Self-study and mindfulness are at the core of yoga, and this challenge gives us the opportunity to focus on these aspects of the practice. I believe it’s a beautiful way to connect with ourselves and deepen our growth. 📝 How It Works: Each day, I’ll post one of Trevor's journaling prompts based on the SOAP method, and you can reflect in your journal or any writing space you have at home. No need to run out and buy anything new—use whatever works for you! This challenge is all about Svadyaya—self-study—so feel free to go at your own pace and let it nurture your personal growth. I really want us to support one another through this journey, so I’ll be offering space daily for anyone who wants to share their thoughts, ask questions, or reflect together. If you are not in my Facebook group I encourage you to join. But staying right here is fine too! Let’s come together to embrace this journey of self-reflection, self-care, and inner discovery.
